What’s On
Our regular Sunday service of Holy Communion is at 10.30 am, except for the first Sunday of each month when the service is at 2.30 pm.
On Wednesdays there is a service at 12.30 pm. On the first Wednesday of each month Holy Communion is celebrated; on all other Wednesdays there is a prayer service. Please note that during Advent and Lent each Wednesday service at 12.30 pm is a service of Holy Communion.
Everyone is welcome in our church and to receive Communion.
We sing hymns at each service. At services of Holy Communion, a simple setting of the Kyrie, Gloria (except during Advent and Lent), Sanctus, Benedictus and Agnus Dei is sung (copies of the music are included in the printed liturgy books).
Our hymn-book is available in the following formats: words only; words only in large print; words plus melody.
Sunday 6th October- Trinity 19, Harvest Festival. Holy Communion at 2.30 pm.
Wednesday 9th October. Holy Communion at 12.30 pm, followed by lunch provided by The Bethany Christian Trust.
Sunday 13th October – Trinity 20. Holy Communion at 10.30 am.
Wednesday 16th October. Prayer service at 12.30 pm.
Sunday 20th October – Trinity 21. Holy Communion at 10.30 am.
Wednesday 23rd October. Prayer service at 12.30 pm.
Sunday 27th October – Trinity 22. Holy Communion at 10.30 am.
Wednesday 30th October. Prayer service at 12.30 pm.
Sunday 3rd November – All Saints and All Souls. Holy Communion at 2.30 pm.
Wednesday 6th November. Holy Communion at 12.30 pm, followed by a shared lunch and games organised by Lib Anderson. .
Sunday 10th November – Remembrance Sunday. Holy Communion at 10.30 am.
Wednesday 13th November. Prayer service at 12.30 pm.
Sunday 17th November – Second Sunday before Advent. Holy Communion at 10.30 am.
Wednesday 20th November. Prayer service at 12.30 pm.
Sunday 24th November – Christ the King. Holy Communion at 10.30 am.
Wednesday 27th November. Prayer service at 12.30 pm.
Sunday 1st December – Advent Sunday. Holy Communion at 2.30 pm.
